Pathos Open House!

In an attempt to raise awareness of the magazine, we will be holding an open house on Wednesday February 8th from 4-6 P.M. at the Simon Benson House (on campus right across the park blocks from Smith). It’s a great opportunity to learn more about the magazine and meet the editorial staff! There will be music, refreshments, and readings from the artists. We can’t wait to see all you hip cats there!

Wednesday, February 8th at the Simon Benson House. 4-6 P.M.

And don’t forget to submit your art and writing to pathos@pdx.edu by February 22nd. The fate of the free world depends on it!

Winter 2012 Call For Submissions

Well, our blog has languished (obviously), but our spirits have not! Pathos is alive and kicking, having just published our 16th, and (in my oh-so-biased opinion) best ever issue. We are currently accepting submissions for our Winter 2012 edition—deadline February 22nd. Send 'em in folks! Get published in Portland State University's best (read: only) literary magazine dedicated to publishing student art and writing.

Love,
the editorial staff

Pathos lives on the web in a way it never has before!

Greetings people of earth. Pathos Literary Magazine is published out of Portland State University here in the fertile air and upon the sodden terra firma of Portland, Oregon. We are a student publication that's driven to explore the boundaries of art, literature and the essay form. This is our first attempt at a blogspot. In this venue we hope to keep those who are curious aware of our whereabouts and going ons. Welcome to the world in our eyes, well kind of. Also please check us out on issuu.com, digital issues can be found at issuu.com/PathosLitMag. That is all.
